Fall is the season of gathering: around the table, in the kitchen, and in the community. We’re excited to share a full slate of activities that bring people together through cooking, learning, and giving back.

Your Fall Community Activity Checklist

✔️ Join a Cookbook Club (enter your dish here!)

✔️ Volunteer at a community event (sign up here!)

✔️ Attend a FREE cooking class (email us to let us know you’ll be there!)

Cookbook Club Returns

What is a cookbook club? It’s a potluck centered around recipes from a chef or cookbook. Grab your favorite Ina Garten cookbook and choose a recipe to share at our next gathering on Friday, October 10th. Sign up here on the group spreadsheet, then bring your dish to the garden at Church of the Advent for Ina Garten in the Garden Cookbook Club. It’s a relaxed, delicious way to try new recipes, swap tips, and connect with fellow food lovers.

Free Fridge Volunteer Cooking Day

Help us stock the Free Fridge on Saturday, October 25th with nourishing meals for neighbors in need. Volunteers can sign up for 4 or 2 hour shifts at the link here. Roll up your sleeves, cook alongside others, and see firsthand how a few hours in the kitchen can make a big difference in our community.

Cooking with Village Green

On Saturday, November 8th from 2 to 4pm, we’re partnering with Village Green (1413 Knowlton St, Cincinnati, OH 45223) for a hands-on Food Preservation Class. Learn simple, practical techniques for extending the harvest. Think pickling, canning, and storing seasonal produce. Learn how to enjoy fall’s bounty all year long. Whether you’re new to preservation or looking to refine your skills, you’ll leave with knowledge (and inspiration) to carry into your own kitchen. RSVP is preferred, but all are welcome.

We love seeing old friends and meeting new ones, so bring a friend and sign up to join us in celebrating food, community, and connection this season.
